Formatting & permissions

Distinguish user locks from application permissions.

Try it yourself

  1. Right-click a cell, row or column to try colors and lock actions. Hover indicators for their scope.
  2. Try editing the second row: application policy blocks changes while selection and copy remain available.
  3. Enable Admin: lock formatting, then inspect formatting and layout actions. Disable it to continue.

Demo notes

The second row in each sample is read-only; AG-00003 Status also denies edits. Selection and copy remain available. Changes stay on this page and reload resets the sample. Screen-reader support still needs manual verification.
